Decidim is a software designed to meet the needs of participation and democratic self-organisation at any scale: participatory processes and budgets, voting, polls, blogs, network communication, etc. It is currently used by more than 200 organisations around the world, from municipalities, regions and states to cooperatives and social organisations. It represents a very particular network model or digital platform: unlike informational platforms or networks, such as the world wide web, or social ones, such as Facebook or Twitter, Decidim is a political platform or network.
