Magacin

The Magacin Cultural Centre is a space dedicated to art, culture and social activity. It was founded in 2007 as a partnership of actors from the independent scene and institutions of the City of Belgrade. Through the open calendar model, Magacin is, without any charge, available on a daily basis to hundreds of users, who contribute together to the maintenance and the improvement of the space and its ever growing visibility and value. At the same time, it becomes a place of an emerging community that keeps growing daily and an example of a collective effort in maintaining a common public good. MKM covers an area of 2000 m² of ground floor, basement with a Small scene and attic. Two smaller builsings, MKM6 and MKM4 form the informal inner yard of Magacin, while galley Ostavinska with an area of 128 m² is used by MKM organizations.
